Day 6, OSEP trip! (8th Sept)

6th day into our trip and we are enjoying the 1st national holiday in South Korea! It is the annual Chuseok day, and it is a pretty big day as the nation has dedicated 3 working days to celebrate this holiday. Chuseok is also known as Korean's Thanksgiving Day, and this year is falls from 8th September till 10th September. So we made use of Chuseok and went to some famous places in Korea!

Day 6

So we started the day pretty late, at around 4pm. We made our way down to the famous Han river, also known to Koreans as Hangang. (Gang means river in Korean)

Panorama shots taken at Hangang!

We also saw the famous blob jump from Running Man!

There are many water sports available in Hangang, like water skiing, wake-boarding, banana boats and jet skis!

A busker performing in front of a huge crowd!

We saw a restaurant selling fried chicken, and with that we settled our dinner.

After dinner we decided to continue strolling and here are some night shots!

As night fell, we decided to head back to our dormitory. However, while heading to grab a cab, we saw KBS, Korean Broadcasting System, and decided to give it a visit!

Interior of KBS!

With the fulfilling trip to Hangang and KBS, we took a cab and went back to our dormitory, and also ended our Day 6 in Korea!

Signing off,
Yuyang!
